Terms of Service

Introduction

These terms govern your use of Dayclo, a digital wardrobe application available at dayclo.app. Dayclo is operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using Dayclo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use Dayclo.

We have tried to write these terms in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@dayclo.app and we will explain it.

Who can use Dayclo

You must be at least 16 years old to use Dayclo. By creating an account you confirm that you are 16 or over.

You may hold one account for your personal use. Dayclo is for personal, non commercial use only.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity that happens under your account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, contact us at hello@dayclo.app.

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. When you do, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to abuse the service, or is used in a way that harms other users or Dayclo itself.

Your content

The photos, item details, outfits, packing lists, notes, and other content you add to Dayclo remain yours. You own them, and we do not claim ownership of them.

By adding content to Dayclo, you give us permission to store it, process it, and display it back to you so that the app can work. This permission exists only so we can provide the service to you.

You also agree that we may include your data in anonymised, aggregated statistics about wardrobe trends, as described in our Privacy Policy. These statistics never identify you, never include your photos, and never reveal any individual wardrobe. You can opt out at any time using the “Data insights” toggle in your Profile settings.

You are responsible for the content you upload. You confirm that you have the right to upload it, and that it does not break any law or infringe anyone else’s rights.

Acceptable use

When using Dayclo you agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, offensive, abusive, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Upload content that contains malware or anything designed to harm the service or other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Dayclo, other users’ accounts, or our systems.
• Scrape, copy, or extract data from Dayclo by automated means.
• Use Dayclo to build a competing product or service.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service, including by overloading it or bypassing any limits we set.

Premium features

Some Dayclo features are available only on a premium plan. Premium access is currently granted by us and is not sold. If we introduce paid subscriptions in future, we will update these terms and tell you before any charges apply.

Premium features may change over time. If we remove a premium feature we will let premium users know.

Insights and suggestions

Dayclo shows you information about your wardrobe, including cost per wear, wear counts, weather forecasts, and other insights. This information is provided for general interest and convenience only. It is based on the data you enter, so its accuracy depends on the accuracy of what you record.

Dayclo does not give financial advice. Any decision you make about buying, keeping, or getting rid of clothing is your own.

Availability

We work hard to keep Dayclo running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of Dayclo at any time. If we make a significant change, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Dayclo. We are not liable for decisions you make based on information shown in the app.

Dayclo is a personal wardrobe tool. Please keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change we will notify you by email or by a notice in the app, and we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Dayclo after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Ending your use of Dayclo

You can stop using Dayclo and delete your account at any time.

We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we close your account for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
